What does a tire change include?
We do not stop at fitting the new tire. We check the key components and settings related to removing and refitting the wheel:
- wheel removal and refitting;
- old tire off / new tire on;
- correct rotation direction (ROTATION);
- proper bead seating on the rim;
- valve check;
- wheel balancing;
- brake caliper and disc position check;
- chain check and adjustment when the rear wheel is removed;
- rear wheel alignment check;
- pressure check.
Why correct mounting matters
A motorcycle tire works under acceleration, hard braking and lean angle, with a relatively small contact patch. Wrong rotation, poor balance, a badly adjusted chain or a misaligned rear wheel can change how the bike feels and accelerate uneven wear. That is why we check the whole wheel system after mounting — not only the new tire.
